5-year-olds are lively, inquisitive, and bursting with energy as they continue to grow and learn. They are curious about the world around them and enjoy asking questions and seeking answers through exploration and experimentation.

At this age they are also refining their fine and gross motor skills, enjoying activities such as drawing, building and playing sports. They will also be learning to read around this time so exposing them to plenty of books is a great idea.
