Seven to nine-year-olds are a dynamic mix of growing independence, curiosity and creativity. They are developing a stronger sense of self and are eager to explore their interests and abilities.

Their cognitive skills are expanding and they start to develop specific interests and hobbies. While they still may enjoy imaginative play, they're increasingly drawn to more structured activities and may show a growing sense of responsibility in completeing tasks and following rules.
